Vincent Cordero, a seasoned media executive with outstanding credentials in the U.S. Hispanic communications industry, has been named executive vice president and general manager of Fox Sports en Español (FSE), it was announced today by David Hill, chairman and chief executive officer, Fox Sports Media Group (FSMG). Mr. Cordero reports to Hernan Lopez, president and chief operating officer, Fox International Channels, who in turn reports to Mr. Hill with respect to this role. Mr. Cordero, a native of Los Angeles, assumes his new position on July 1, 2010.
News Corporation today announced that it has acquired Skiff, LLC, Hearst Corporation’s e-reading platform designed to deliver premium journalism to tablets, smartphones, e- readers and netbooks.
